An AI visibility and SEO tool for agencies, priced per client site

, SEO and AI visibility · Updated

XeoRank is an SEO and AI visibility tool that agencies can run across many client sites, priced per site: Pro is $49 per client site a month on the pricing page. Each site gets AI visibility tracking on ChatGPT, Gemini (grounded in Google Search) and Perplexity, a technical SEO audit, rank tracking, and an AI agent that can make changes on WordPress, Framer and code sites.

This page is for agency owners and SEO leads deciding whether it fits their client work. It covers what the tool does for each part of the job, what it costs at a few client counts, where it is weaker than Profound and AthenaHQ, and what we do not offer.

What an agency needs from the tool

Agency SEO work, and now AI visibility work, comes down to three jobs:

  1. Report to clients on where they stand, in search and in AI answers.
  2. Make the fixes, or get them made, on sites the agency does not own.
  3. Prove progress month over month, so the retainer renews.

Many AI visibility tools do the first job only. They track answers and leave the audit, the fixes and the before-and-after to other software. XeoRank puts all three on one site record, which is the reason an agency might pick it.

How the pricing works with several clients

Each client brand is a site in your workspace. Starter covers one site. Pro and Growth are priced per site, with credits pooled across the workspace.

1$49Pricing page
3$147, with 120,000 credits shared between the three sitesPricing page FAQ

Growth is $109 per site a month for clients who need more: more tracked questions, two years of history, and rollbacks. You can put a large client on Growth and smaller ones on Pro in the same workspace. Starter costs $19 a month for one site with a 14-day free trial and no card, but it has fewer prompts and no live rank checks, so it is a trial step rather than a client plan.

Every plan includes MCP and API access and unlimited site edits on WordPress, Framer and code sites.

Reporting: per engine, every week

For each client site, XeoRank asks ChatGPT, Gemini (grounded in Google Search) and Perplexity the client's buyer questions; see pricing for what each plan includes.

Results are shown per engine, next to an overall rate. This matters for client reporting. Profound found that how long a page stays cited on one engine says almost nothing about how long it stays cited on another, with correlations of 0.03 to 0.09; in its words, "The engines decide independently." So a client can keep its citations on Perplexity while losing them on ChatGPT. A blended score on its own hides that, and the client eventually finds out.

Next to the AI data sit the classic numbers clients still ask about: rank tracking for 100 keywords weekly, backlinks checked every two weeks, and Google Search Console and GA4 reporting.

For the client deliverable, XeoRank writes a weekly or monthly Search Console report and exports it as a PDF or a Google Doc. On Growth you can issue it under your agency's name instead of XeoRank's. See white-label SEO reports for what that covers and what it does not.

Technical audits for every client

The crawler checks each client site for the problems that keep pages out of search and out of AI answers: titles, conflicting canonicals, broken links, errors in existing structured data and more, and Core Web Vitals can be measured page by page. Keyword research and clustering, content briefs and a writing review are in the same plan. For an agency, this means one subscription covers the onboarding audit, the monthly technical check and the content plan.

Client-approved changes on WordPress and Elementor

This is the part many AI visibility tools leave out. With the XeoRank Connector plugin installed on a client's WordPress site, the AI agent can edit the pages and posts that already exist:

  • rewrite headings and copy on existing pages, including Elementor layouts built with native containers and widgets, and Elementor 4 atomic elements;
  • write titles and meta descriptions to Yoast, Rank Math or All in One SEO;
  • add schema, upload images, and update menus and templates.

The controls are built for working on someone else's site. Writes are off for each WordPress site until they are switched on. New pages are created as drafts, and preview links let you show the client a draft before it goes live. Every change to a page's content is snapshotted and can be restored, so a change the client dislikes can be undone. The same agent also works on Framer sites and code sites on GitHub and Vercel, which have no snapshots.

Your own Claude or ChatGPT does the work

XeoRank runs an MCP server at https://mcp.xeorank.com/mcp, listed in the official MCP Registry as com.xeorank/xeorank, with more than 200 tools. It works with Claude (Claude.ai, Desktop and Claude Code), ChatGPT connectors, Codex, Cursor and VS Code.

In practice, an account manager can ask Claude to pull a client's AI results and Search Console data, list the queries that lost clicks, propose fixes, and apply the ones you allow to the client's WordPress site, in one conversation. See the SEO MCP server page for setup.

How it compares with Profound and AthenaHQ for agencies

Both have agency offerings, and both track more engines than XeoRank.

Profound mentions a self-serve Agency Growth plan on its pricing page, with 400 credits per month per client workspace, but shows no price for it as of 13 October 2026. Its Enterprise plan covers up to nine engines, and its MCP server is on Enterprise. Profound does not run a classic technical SEO crawl. Its strengths are engine coverage, AI crawler analytics from CDN logs, and its published research.

AthenaHQ runs an Agency Program that offers centralized management of client brands, prebuilt pitch workspaces, and discounted licenses for agencies to bundle with their services. Its pricing page labels the custom-priced Enterprise plan as best for enterprises and agencies. The self-serve Starter plan is $295 a month for 3,600 credits on 11 engines. AthenaHQ publishes new posts to WordPress, Webflow, Shopify and other CMSs, and manages robots.txt and llms.txt, but does not crawl sites or track rankings.

What XeoRank does not do

  • Fewer engines. There is no Copilot, Grok, DeepSeek or Meta AI tracking. If a client sells into an audience that uses those, AthenaHQ or Profound covers them.
  • Fewer prompts per site than Scrunch, whose Core plan tracks 125 unique prompts for $250 a month (pricing).
  • No prompt-volume estimates.

If those gaps rule it out, our comparisons of Profound alternatives and AthenaHQ alternatives list other options. If they do not, add your first client site and run a free site analysis to see what the audit finds.

Questions

How much does XeoRank cost for an agency with several clients?
Pro is $49 per site a month, and each client brand is a site. A workspace with three sites on Pro is $147 a month, with 120,000 credits shared between the three sites, according to the XeoRank pricing page on 13 October 2026.
Which AI engines does XeoRank track for each client?
XeoRank asks ChatGPT, Gemini (grounded in Google Search) and Perplexity each client's buyer questions; see the XeoRank pricing page for what each plan includes. It covers fewer engines than AthenaHQ or Profound's Enterprise plan.
Can an agency make changes to a client's WordPress site through XeoRank?
Yes, once the client installs the XeoRank Connector plugin and writes are switched on for that site. The AI agent can edit existing pages, including Elementor layouts, write titles and meta descriptions to Yoast, Rank Math or All in One SEO, and add schema. New pages are created as drafts, preview links can go to the client, and every change to a page's content is snapshotted so it can be rolled back.
How does Profound price its agency plan?
On 13 October 2026 Profound's pricing page mentioned a self-serve Agency Growth plan with 400 credits per month per client workspace, but listed no price for it.
