Profound pricing in 2026: what the pricing page shows, and what you can expect to pay
Anjaneyulu Jadda, SEO and AI visibility · Updated
Profound does not publish a monthly price. On 13 October 2026 its pricing page showed two options: a free 7-day trial and an Enterprise plan priced by quote. If you want a number before a sales call, the best guides are the earlier prices other vendors have reported and what comparable tools charge, both below.
What each Profound plan includes
| Trial | Enterprise | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | Free for 7 days | Custom quote |
| Prompts | 50 a day | By quote |
| AI engines | ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews | Up to 9: ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Mode, Gemini, Copilot, DeepSeek, Claude, AI Overviews, Exa |
| Exports and API | Not included | Ask sales |
| MCP server | No | Yes, per Profound's MCP docs |
The pricing page's FAQ also mentions a self-serve Agency Growth plan with 400 credits per client workspace a month. No price is listed for it.
Prices reported earlier
AthenaHQ's Profound comparison page, dated 5 October 2026 with pricing it says it checked on 9 September 2026, listed two self-serve Profound plans:
- Starter: $99 a month, ChatGPT only.
- Growth: $399 a month, 3 seats, 100 prompts, 3 engines.
Neither plan appears on Profound's own pricing page as of 13 October 2026. Treat these figures as a rough guide to where Profound's pricing has sat, not as a current offer, and ask Profound's sales team for a current quote.
Why Profound prices this way
Profound sells to large marketing teams. Its Enterprise plan bundles features that matter at that size: SSO and SCIM, CDN-level analytics of AI crawler visits, prompt-volume estimates, agents that publish to WordPress, Adobe Experience Manager, Contentful, Drupal and Sanity, and a research programme that includes an analysis of 680 million citations. A quote-based price is normal for software sold that way. It also means smaller teams cannot see a price without a call.
What comparable tools cost

| Tool | Lowest paid price | What you get at that price |

| XeoRank | $49/site/mo Pro ($19 Starter) | 3: ChatGPT, Gemini (Google Search grounding), Perplexity; technical SEO, rank tracking, site edits |
| Peec AI | $95/mo | 50 prompts, 3 models of your choice, unlimited users |
| Otterly.AI | about $25 to $29/mo | 15 prompts, 4 engines |
| Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit | $99/mo per domain, annual | 25 prompts |
| Scrunch | $250/mo | 125 prompts, 4 engines (9 on Enterprise) |
How to get a useful quote from Profound
- Count your prompts before the call. Write down the buyer questions you want tracked, without your brand name in them. Twenty to fifty is typical for one brand.
- Decide which engines you need. For most businesses that is ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews first. Paying for nine engines only helps if your buyers use them.
- List the features you would actually use: crawler analytics, agents, prompt volumes, API, SSO. Each one changes the price.
- Use the 7-day trial on the same questions you would track on any other tool, so you can compare results directly.
Where XeoRank fits
XeoRank is not an enterprise replacement for Profound. It tracks fewer engines and has no prompt-volume data. It is built for agencies and growing businesses that want a published price and need the same tool to audit the site for SEO, track rankings and Search Console data, and make the fixes. Its MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT, Codex or Cursor edit existing WordPress pages, including Elementor layouts; the assistant asks before each tool call, and WordPress writes are off for a site until you turn them on. Pro is $49 per site a month. See Profound alternatives for the full comparison.
